Rabbi Rosenthal grew up in Nashville, Tennessee at Congregation Ohabai Shalom. For her undergraduate degree, she attended New College, the honors college of Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After serving as a youth group director and religious school teachers in Sarasota, Florida she moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she worked as Assistant Director of Education for nine years at The Temple-Tifereth Israel. During this time, she received a Master's Degree in Jewish Education, graduating with Distinction from Siegal College of Jewish Studies. At Siegal, she received the Aaron Intrater Award for excellence in Jewish Education. In additional to educational pursuits, she founded a Jewish young adult group centered on sharing talents and skills with one another and served as a representative to the Cleveland Federation Young Adult Initiative Board.

Rabbi Rosenthal entered rabbinical school at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2008. She served student pulpits in West Virginia and Ohio. During the summer of 2010 she was the Schusterman Outreach Fellow of congregation Temple Beth Israel in Skokie, Illinois where her work focused on 20's and 30's outreach.

While gaining experience at congregations, Rabbi Rosenthal also worked to strengthen and learn about communities, including HUC‐JIR in Cincinnati. She served as President of the Rabbinical Student Association, was chosen as one of eight Day School Externs to learn about and advocate for Jewish Day Schools, was selected for a Jewish Foundation Service Learning Fellowship in 2012 wherein she worked with the Jewish Federation to strengthen relationships with congregations, and was nominated as a participant for the American Jewish World Service trip to Mexico in January 2010. Upon Ordination, she received the Robert L. Adler Prize for excellence in contributions to the community.

Rabbi Rosenthal is excited to be at Temple B'rith Shalom along with her husband Chad and children Isaac and Solomon.
