Youth Education

Our goal in the Temple B'rith Shalom Religious School is to instill in our students the desire to continue lifelong Jewish learning. We hope to inspire them to pursue an active Jewish life, and to provide them a safe, sacred space in which to develop positive memories and experiences about Judaism.

Templepeople14In 2006, we implemented the URJ recommended Chai curriculum. This new curriculum helps us to educate our Jewish youth on the Torah, blessings, Hebrew, and the meaning and importance of religious ceremonies.

We have incorporated "family days" into our calendar. We strive to create an atmosphere that is comfortable for all the family. Our religious school experience also includes socialization and Mitzvot opportunities for our youth. We want them to share fun and rewarding experiences with other Jewish children.

Templepeople04Temple B'rith Shalom Religious School serves youth from the ages of 3 to 18, including B'nai Mitzvah and confirmation classes with our Rabbi. Classes are held on Sunday mornings during the school year. Please join us for an educational, exciting and fun school year. We welcome all new or prospective students and their families!

For further information or to register your child, please contact the temple office at (928) 708-0018.
